Sometimes, users of the E-Catalog are unable to use their own email settings to setup emailing from the E-Catalog. This could be due to a corporate firewall, unknown settings, or any number of reasons. To help our customers in these situations, Millwork Development offers our own email server for use, and a convenient way to configure your E-Catalog to use this server. Here's how:
- Open the E-Catalog's email settings by clicking the "Utilities" button on the top of the E-Catalog, then clicking "Open Email".
- If a message pops up notifying you that the email settings aren't properly set, click "yes" to be taken to the email settings. Otherwise click the "Email Settings" button on the top of the email window to be taken to the Email settings.
- In the email settings box click "Use MD Test Account". This will populate your email settings with our own settings.
- Click "Ok" to save your new email settings.
Your E-Catalog will now be configured to use Millwork Developments email settings. From now on, all emails sent from the E-Catalog will appear to be coming from noreply@e-catalog3.com, so please be sure to tell your customers about this change to avoid any confusion!
