Installing the E-Catalog

NOTE: This article only applies to the desktop version of the E-Catalog.

First off, thank you for using the E-Catalog! In this tutorial we will be walking through how to install the desktop version of the E-Catalog on a Windows computer.

Before we begin, please ensure that you have an E-Catalog installer on your computer. You should have received an installer in the form of an an .exe or an .msi file from Millwork Development support or your distributor.

First, locate and run your setup file. The file will likely be titled setup.exe, and can be run by double-clicking it. Click Next.

On this screen you’re allowed to choose where the E-Catalog will be installed on your computer. We strongly recommend that users do not change this from the default path, as users will then need to remember to install any updates to this path. Click Next.

Review the settings are correct and click install. Installation will begin, and usually lasts just a minute or two. Once the installation is completed click finish to exit the installer. You can now launch the E-Catalog by double clicking the shortcut that was created on your desktop.
